Can-Am Spyder RS-S Roadster
The Spyder RS roadster is eye-catching and more than capable of making a sporty impression, however, the Spyder RS-S takes performance and styling to the next level. From its dual-spoke front wheels, contrast-stitched seat, carbon-black aluminum parts, painted front spoiler and A-arm covers, and exclusive graphics the Spyder RS-S roadster is dressed for success on the open road. Available with either the SM5 or SE5 transmissions with reverse.
New for 2012 is a front suspension with gas-charged FOX Racing Shox. The new anodized-aluminum FOX Racing Shox front shocks on the Spyder RS-S models offer adjustable threaded preload and have improved compression and rebound damping. The shocks, which provide a 33 percent weight reduction per shock over the stock Spyder RS shocks, also wear carbon-black-colored springs for 2012.
A new screen color was added to the high-grade LCD display on the RS-S roadster. The new multi-function LCD display with amber coloration offers improved contrast at night.
Two new striking, bold color choices — Neutron Green Metallic / Satin Black and Can-Am Red / Satin Black — join the returning Pure Magnesium Metallic / Steel Black Metallic as color options for 2012. Another design element that will also contribute to the Spyder RS-S models’ refined look is a Carbon-black aluminum treatment for the handlebar, foot pegs (rider and passenger) and both the front and rear suspension springs.

Can-Am Spyder RT Limited
The Spyder RT Limited, based off of the Spyder RT-S platform, is fully loaded. Specialty parts include: a handlebar-mounted Garmin‡ Zumo‡ 660 color touchscreen GPS that’s integrated into vehicle electronics system and Bluetooth; travel cover; four semi-rigid travel bags, front and rear cargo compartments; aluminum six-spoke chrome wheels; chrome accents (mirrors, exhaust tip and heat shield); embroidered seat; and two color choices (Pearl White and Lava Bronze Metallic). It also features several purpose-built driver and passenger comfort items, like an adjustable windshield, cruise control, lumbar support, backrest, heated handgrips and more. New for 2012 are the aluminum wheels, chrome accents, amber-colored multi-function Dot-matrix display coloration for improved contrast at night and a Lava Bronze Metallic color scheme with embroidered Tan seat.
Can-Am Outlander 1000 and 800R
New from the ground up, the 2012 Can-Am Outlander 1000, and Outlander 800R feature an innovative ride quality and superlative comfort. The next generation Outlander maintains its unrivalled engine performance with a new 976cc Rotax V-Twin option, industry-leading horsepower and a stellar power-to-weight ratio, all of which are integral attributes for a modern rec-utility ATV.
New Generation XT package additions
Available in the new generation Outlander XT, new generation Renegade and Outlander XT-P platforms, the Can-Am DPS system is outfitted with three separate selectable levels of steering assistance: Minimum, Medium or Maximum. DPS provides variable steering assistance no matter what mode the rider chooses for the terrain. The system is designed to offer less assist at high speed and more assist at low speed. All DPS-equipped models also come with the Visco-Lok QE (quicker engagement). This system acts faster than it does on non-DPS Outlander ATVs.

The new Renegade 1000 and 800R both have the next-generation chassis, improved suspension and enhanced ergonomics. All combine to make the Can-Am Renegade 1000 and 800R the kings of the sport 4x4 category. The Renegade 1000 feature a new EFI-fed, 976cc V-Twin power plant.

2012 Can-Am Commander 1000 Limited
BRP’s luxurious Commander 1000 Limited offers the most style and prestige of any side-by-side in the industry. It comes standard with the Commander XT package and expands upon that with luxury items.
Performance
The 85-horsepower, liquid-cooled Rotax 1000 80º V-twin is the most powerful rec-utility side-by-side engine in the industry*. The sophisticated EFI system — fed by a 54mm Bosch throttle body and two VDO Seimens injectors — automatically keeps the engine’s performance at its peak, regardless of temperature or altitude. A throttle-by-wire system works in conjunction with the 54mm Bosch throttle body to produce smooth throttle delivery. The iTC system detects unwanted bounces and filters the input, resulting in more throttle accuracy, especially at low speed. This system also reduces the number of moving parts in the vehicle; requires no maintenance; has no cables to adjust, lubricate or replace.
